PGA pins are replaceable without soldering. A few spare PGA pins are supplied with the adapter. More pins can be ordered at any time. This adapter is used for testing, when the tester has a PGA ZIF socket, or on a breadboard when the chip needs to be frequently re-programmed or replaced. PGA plug has 8x8 matrix compatible with 44-PLCC through-hole production socket. |
