Description: Low profile 44-QFP adapter with SMT QFP pads replaces the package on the target's QFP pads. The top part has QFP pads for soldering of the package. The adapter's very low profile, (only a 300 mils of added height), and small footprint, (the same as the QFP package), make it possible to use the actual device in field trials and/or in confined spaces, as well as on the bench, to compare the results achieved with an emulator to those achieved with the real chip. The target can also be sent for evaluation to a customer. When the target is back from the customer, the SMT TOP can be removed and emulator or logic analyzer adapters can be plugged in.  The SMT TOP QFP adapter uses the same SMT QFP base as all other Aprilog.com adapters (i.e. emulator, logic analyzer and ZIF socket top, etc. adapters.) The adapter is a two part set (TOP and base). The price listed includes the base. Additional bases (44QFS31-SD) can be purchased at any time.
